I have been a personal trainer for the last 12 years, I am also a fitness nutrition specialist and exercise therapy specialist. I have a passion for helping people who take the decision to live  healthy, by providing unwavering support throughout their health and fitness transformation. Everything you need to know before you start

Yes, warming up before exercising is very important to prepare your muscles for the movements you will be doing during the exercises. Even if it is just for the weekly challenge: make sure to warm up. The stretches at the end of every workout (or challenge) are equally as important!

You do as many sets as you can with one leg, then repeat the same amount of sets with the other leg. It is important to do the same amount of sets on each leg.

Yes absolutely! Hold on to a wall or a chair, or anything nearby to help you balance.

It certainly is a convenient product to use in terms of money & wastage, however it is also processed; therefore I would use sparingly, especially during the detox phase.

These symbols do not exclusively indicate a meal is vegetarian or vegan – you will also find these symbols in recipes where there is a vegetarian or vegan option/alternative. This is indicated on the content pages 🙂

In this case continue with the routine meal timing, eg if you miss your mid-morning snack, eat your lunch at lunchtime (as opposed to the snack you missed), then continue with your afternoon snack, then dinner. Do try to stick to macro 3 on 3 though – this is the key to your healthy lifestyle! If you think you are going to have a crazy day at work, prepare snacks that are easy to eat when on the go (shakes, power balls, etc).

If you sleep more than 3 hours after dinner, then yes, have a snack. Remember: macro 3 on 3! So you should be eating something every 3 hours that you are awake, that has the perfect balance of proteins, fats & carbs.

Yes! While time management is important in such a program, obviously certain hectic days cannot be predicted. So if you miss a day of exercise for whatever reason, let that day be your rest day and work out on what is supposed to be the program’s rest day.

That is completely normal & to be expected – don’t worry you are not alone! During the detox phase, it is absolutely normal for you to be experiencing headaches. This is because we have eliminated salt, sugar & caffeine from your diet. Don’t worry, this is short-lived and you will be feeling grand in no time!

It can happen sometimes from all the raw vegetables that are in the recipes. Make sure you are drinking enough water.

You can replace it with lean minute steak, always sticking to the same portion size.

In an airtight container you have at the very least 3 weeks. Make sure  you store it in a cool, dry area.
